THE WORLD AROUND THE MAHJONG TABLE
American Mahjong is more than a game. It is a reason to gather, a tradition shared across generations, and a ritual that brings people back to one another.
Mahj Palazzo celebrates the world surrounding the American Mahjong table through considered design, editorial storytelling, and an appreciation for the people, places, objects, and rituals that make each gathering meaningful.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
We believe beauty and function should never compete. Every object we create or curate should have a purpose, contributing to the comfort, atmosphere, and enjoyment of gathering. Guided by curiosity, intention, and respect for the traditions of American Mahjong, we value enduring design, meaningful stories, and the simple pleasure of time spent together.
OUR MISSION
To document, curate, and design the world surrounding the American Mahjong table. Through beautiful objects, editorial storytelling, and approachable education, we celebrate the people, places, and traditions that make the game meaningful. Our aim is to cultivate a world that extends beyond the table while remaining rooted in it.
